General instructions regarding online selection:-

(1) The woman applying for selection in the honorary service of Anganwadi worker/Tedagar should be an Indian citizen.

(2) The female candidate applying for selection in the honorary service of Anganwadi worker/Tedagar should be a local resident for at least one year on the date of the residence certificate of the prescribed pattern to be issued by the concerned Mamlatdar. In the case of rural areas, the Anganwadi should be established in the revenue village or in the case of urban areas, the candidate should be a local resident of the revenue village or the electoral ward of the concerned Municipality/Metropolitan Municipality for at least one year. For this criterion, the certificate of the office of the concerned Mamlatdar for this work of the pattern prescribed by the Women and Child Development Department and issued by the Public Service Center should not be older than six months on the date of publication of the advertisement.

(3) The age of the applicant applying for selection in the honorary service of Anganwadi worker/Tedagar should have completed 18 years and should not be more than 33 years as on the last date of application.

(4) The minimum educational qualification for an Anganwadi worker should be 12th pass or 10th pass and at least 2 years diploma course recognized by AICTE.

(5) The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi caretaker should be Standard 10 passed.

(6) If the applicant falls under the reserved category, a certificate from the competent authority to that effect will have to be submitted.

(7) If the applicant is a widow, a certificate from the competent authority to that effect will have to be submitted.

(C) The applicant will have to upload and submit all the educational qualification certificates mentioned in the online application.

(9) The last date of application will be considered as the cut-off date. Therefore, the applicant should fulfill the criteria for age, educational qualification and other eligibility as on the last date of application.

(10) The applicant will have to submit a self-declaration in the prescribed format along with proof of identity that the information and certificates submitted by the applicant are correct.

(11) The applicant has a criminal history and a police complaint has been filed against the applicant. A person who has been sentenced by a competent court cannot apply.

(12) An applicant who has been declared bankrupt by a competent authority cannot apply.

(13) An applicant who has been suspended or dismissed from any previous government/semi-government/honorary service as part of penal proceedings cannot apply.

(14) A person who is related to a family member of an Anganwadi worker/Tedagar in the same Anganwadi camp as per Appendix 2 (Rule 3.11. Issue No. 5) such as mother-in-law, sister-in-law, two sisters, sister-in-law and sister-in-law will not be able to apply.

(15) The applicant shall not be eligible to apply if he/she holds an honorary or elected position in any Local Self-Government Institution/Legislative Assembly/Lok Sabha or any Cooperative Institution/Registered Society/Registered Trust and does not wish to relinquish such position.

(16) The existing Anganwadi workers will be given priority by the Government in the Anganwadi worker selection process as per the rules 6.1 to 6.6 as per the Resolution No. ICD/102017/1652/B (Part-2) of the Women and Child Development Department dated 25/11/2019.

(17) In case the grade/score (CPI/CGA) is mentioned in the mark sheet, it is mandatory to upload the marks/percentage calculation from the grade/score issued by the university/college or the certificate/mark sheet of the calculated marks/percentage from the university/college itself.

(18) If the details filled in the application form and the details of the uploaded documents are different, the candidature of the applicant will be considered cancelled. The uploaded documents should be in a legible format.

(19) In cases where a candidate has passed the examination in more than one attempt, then in such cases, the candidate will have to scan and upload the original mark sheet of each attempt. A candidate who passes in more than one attempt will have to count only the marks of the subject/subjects passed in that mark sheet. The marks of the failed subject/subjects will be counted as 3/5 of the total marks. Then the marks of the subject/subjects passed again

Thus, if the total marks of 7 subjects are 700, then only the marks of the subjects passed out of 700 from the different mark sheets should be counted.

If the marks obtained are 325 out of the total marks of 700, in which there is a failure with 25 marks in one subject, the marks obtained will be counted as 300. Then if there are 50 marks in that subject, the marks obtained will be 350 out of the total marks of 700.

(20) Information against educational qualification should be filled in marks or percentage only. Which should be as per the mark sheet of recognized university/college. The method of showing marks obtained in any educational qualification course should be shown in one of the two methods namely marks or percentage.

The above instructions must be followed by the applicant while filling the online form. Failure to fulfill any of the qualifications/conditions will result in cancellation of the applicant's candidature.
